Kim F. Bontrager is a Licensed Title Agent, notary public and a die-hard fan of the rock group Journey.

She has been serving as Gary Kauffman’s primary paralegal and title agent for the past seven (7) years; and has worked with him in that and/or various other capacities for over thirteen (13) years.

Kim has a vast knowledge of closing procedures and requirements and is diligent about the process, follow-up and commitment to our clients.  When the logistics of closing-on-time appear challenging, Kim’s motto is … Don’t Stop Believin’!

When Kim isn’t at work, she enjoys singing on her church’s music ministry team, and spending time with her husband of 34 years (Milt), their 3 sons and wives, and 4 grandchildren!

Rebekah is an office manager, and a real estate paralegal with experience in the field of refinance, residential, and commercial closings. She is dedicated to the client experience with the firm, and to the team within the firm itself. 

A Sarasota native, Rebekah volunteers in local programs for Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, including Sarasota County’s “Keep Sarasota County Beautiful” program (KSCB), and Mote Marine’s annual “Run for the Turtles”. She is passionate regarding improvement and preservation for the community environment.

Rebekah resides in Sarasota with her husband Jeremey, who shares her hobbies of fly fishing, hiking, gardening, reading, and travel.

Maria is a Licensed Title Agent/Paralegal with more than 20 years of experience in residential closings, she worked at Mason Title for 2.5 years, prior to joining Kauffman Thompson.

Originally from Michigan, relocated to Sarasota in 2019 with her husband Matt of 12 years and her two golden retrievers, Stella and Vera.

She is a baker, a cook, and a dog lover.  She has the experience, knowledge, and resources to help you close on your dream home!
